    CYBER SECURITY

hello friends ! after a long time m posting new posts in my blog i had my exams in school and all . That's why i was not able to write anything & now my holidays are started And i will be able to post some hacking tuts from Kali Linux and windows 7/8/10/xp and also i will be making videos for them. I thought before posting any hacking tuts I decided to post some information about cyber security and how to stop hackers from hacking into pc .
    CYBER SECURITY

First ques. that comes to our mind while studying about cyber security is that -

    WHAT IS CYBER SECURITY ?
Cyber security, referrs to  information technology security, focuses on protecting computers, networks, programs and data from unintended or unauthorized access, change or destruction .

THEN NEXT QUESTION COMES IN OUR MIND IS THAT -

WHY IS CYBER SECURITY IMPORTANT ?
Governments, military, corporations, financial institutions, hospitals and other businesses collect, process and store a great deal of confidential information on computers and transmit that data across networks to other computers. With the growing volume and sophistication of cyber attacks, ongoing attention is required to protect sensitive business and personal information, as well as safeguard national security.
During a Senate hearing in March 2013, the nation's top intelligence officials warned that cyber attacks and digital spying are the top threat to national security, eclipsing terrorism.

Ensuring cybersecurity requires coordinated efforts throughout an information system. Elements of cybersecurity include:

    • Application security
    • Information security
    • Network security
    • Disaster recovery / business continuity planning
    • End-user education.
One of the most problematic elements of cyber security is the quickly and constantly evolving nature of security risks. The traditional approach has been to focus most resources on the most crucial system components and protect against the biggest known threats, which necessitated leaving some less important system components undefended and some less dangerous risks not protected against. Such an approach is insufficient in the current environment. Adam Vincent, CTO - public sector at Layer 7 Technologies (a security services provider to federal agencies including Defense Department organizations), describes the problem

after reading all this we think that-

HOW TO STOP HACKERS FROM HACKING INTO OUR PC ?

there are many steps some of them are -

    • Perform required software updates for your operating system and web browser. Hackers attack where they see weakness. A system that hasn't been updated recently has flaws in it that can be taken advantage of by hackers. To do so Go to the Microsoft Update website to download patches and secure the most recent version of your operating system. If you have a Mac, click on the apple in the top left of your screen and choose "Software Update."
    •  Install a firewall on your computer. Firewalls forbid outside threats such as hackers and viruses from gaining access to your system. Personalize your firewall settings during the setup process to reflect how much data you want to allow into your system from the Internet, and update your firewall regularly.
      • Change your passwords often. Use a different password for each website you regularly log into, and make sure your passwords are long and intricate so that they're harder to guess. It's especially important to keep your banking and other financial accounts secure.
      •  Purchase or download anti-virus software. Many computers come pre-installed with certain anti-virus software, but if not, or if you want more powerful software, research online to find what product suits you. Anti-virus software is crucial to keep your computer healthy. A "sick" computer, or one racked with viruses, is more susceptible to hacking. Set your preferences so your anti-virus software updates automatically.
      • Install anti-spyware/adware programs onto your system. This type of intrusion is not as dangerous as a virus, but adware places advertisements onto your browser and incorporates pop-ups into your programs. This can slow down your computer, making you vulnerable to a hacker. Spyware can survey your Internet behavior and copy your passwords to use for illegitimate purposes.
      • Delete emails from unknown sources. Never click on an emailed link that looks questionable. It may be a virus.
and now i soon will post some videos on my youtube channel and some informations on hacking tuts and various pc tricks.
thanks for giving me your precious time.
