PENDRIVE LESS CAPACITY SHOWING PROBLEM

hello guys in my this post i decided to write about a common problem that is sometimes your pen drive shows less space then it have in it for eg. my pendrive has 16 gb space but when i plugged it back it showed me only 4 gb is usable out of 16 gb and now i fixed that issue and if u have the same problem follow my this post .

what actually happens ?

ANS: sometimes due to malware or many people plug out the usb device out of their system without clicking on safe to remove hardware and the another reason is that you created a bootable usb but when you format it shows very less space or space of the iso file you used like in my case i burned it using the kali linux 2.0 iso file which is approx 4 gb and when i burned it and then i formatted it it showed 4gb only .

HOW TO DO ?

FIRST OF ALL MAKE SURE THAT UR PEN DRIVE WAS REALLY OF THAT SPACE FOR EG. 116 GB (SHOWING 3.09 USABLE) LIKE~
AND IF THIS IS SO THEN FIRST OF ALL RUN DISK MANAGEMENT YOU CAN DO SO BY TYPING diskmgmt.msc IN RUN . AND THEN SEE THAT YOUR PEN DRIVE SHOWS SOME SPACE UNALLOCATED LIKE~
IF IT IS SO THEN YOU CAN RECOVER THIS SPACE .
OPEN DISKPART YOU CAN DO SO BY TYPING diskpart IN RUN ~
AFTER THAT IT WILL OPEN THIS KINDA INTERFACE ~
THEN TYPE list disk IT WILL LIST ALL DISKS (ONE IS INTERNAL AND OTHERS ARE EXTERNAL) ~see that it shows 14 gb
THEN TYPE select disk 1 (REPLACE ONE WITH NO. OF YOUR DISK) ~
TYPE clean
THEN create partition primary ~
THEN FORMAT YOUR PEN DRIVE AS USUAL !
